Basque technical architecture associations join ONSITE Mugak/ to collaborate in the execution of the winning projects

The Professional Associations of Technical Architecture of Alava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa have formalised an alliance with the International Biennial of Architecture of the Basque Country Mugak/.

Thanks to this alliance, once the winning ephemeral architecture proposals of the ONSITE Mugak/ call have been chosen, the three associations will organise a competition aimed at their members, who will have the opportunity to present their candidatures to accompany the execution of the three winning proposals.

What does this collaboration entail?

Opportunities for technical architecture professionals: they will have the opportunity to participate in the execution of the winning projects of the ephemeral installations.

Strengthening of the local productive framework: By involving local professionals in the execution of the projects, it contributes to revitalize the construction sector in the Basque Country.

How to participate in the competition?

The professional associations will announce the call for entries once the jury's decision has been published and, therefore, the three winning ephemeral architectures of the ONSITE Mugak/ are known. All the information necessary to participate in the competition, including the registration requirements, the evaluation criteria and the timetable of the process, will be disseminated through the Basque Associations of Technical Architects.

A step forward for Basque architecture

This alliance between the professional associations and the International Architecture Biennial of the Basque Country Mugak/ represents a step forward for basque architecture, by highlighting the talent and experience of its professionals and encouraging collaboration between the different stakeholders in the sector.
