Jesús San Vicente

An architect graduated from the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Madrid (ETSAM), Jesús San Vicente has combined his professional practice with teaching since 1989 as an Associate Professor of Architectural Design at ETSAM. He also directs the postgraduate program AMD – Architecture, Fashion and Design and leads experimental workshops focused on Product Design and Ephemeral Architecture.
He is the founder of his own architectural practice, JSV Arquitectura, and co-directs EQUIPO 01 Architecture & Global Design, a multidisciplinary firm engaged in interior design, museography, exhibition design, ephemeral architecture and industrial design.
He has designed numerous exhibitions for institutions such as Fundación ICO, the Army Museum, the Ministry of Public Works, as well as for international venues including the Universal Expositions of Hannover, Shanghai, and Zaragoza. In the field of fair and pavilion design, his projects for IBERIA, Paradores Nacionales, and the city of Madrid at several editions of FITUR have earned awards for design and sustainability.
Throughout his career, he has received multiple awards in the fields of architecture, design, and public space. These include national competition wins for cultural and public facilities, housing developments, and distinctions granted by the Madrid City Council over several years.
