Their projects range from public spaces and buildings of various scales to rehabilitation works and small ephemeral interventions, always maintaining a constant dialogue between strategy and detail. They have shared a professional trajectory since 2006.
Among their most notable works are award-winning heritage intervention projects such as the Hospedería de Herrera del Duque, located in the San Jerónimo Convent and promoted by the Regional Government of Extremadura, or the extension of the primary school in Igorre, commissioned by the Basque Government, recipient of the COAVN Award in 2019.
Their portfolio includes rehabilitation and extension of public-use buildings such as the Altzaga School in Erandio, the frontón (traditional Basque pelota court) in Armintza, and the Eibho headquarters building in Berriz. They have also designed residential buildings of varying scales, including 70 subsidized dwellings in Huesca, 35 social housing units in the historic center of Badajoz, and 15 protected dwellings in Sestao. On a smaller scale, they explore reformulation through the recovery and reuse of existing structures, as in the 100.60 housing project in Bilbao, which was a finalist for the 2019 FAD Awards.
Their practice is rooted in a strong belief in design driven by imagination and empathy, in order to deliver optimal solutions for all. As a studio, their approach is open and fueled by optimism, advocating for beauty as a fundamental argument of architecture.
