Architect from the School of Architecture of the UPV-EHU. Specialist in Cultural Heritage with specific training in the Master's Degree in Historical and Cultural Heritage Management at the Complutense

University of Madrid, obtaining a mention of excellence for the master's thesis “Patrimondarea”. She is currently developing his doctoral thesis research at the School of Architecture of the UPV/EHU, on the evolution of the protection and classification of buildings as cultural assets.

She has been director and coordinator of several Summer Courses-UIK of the UPV/EHU (2017, 2018), on topics aimed at deepening the concept of Cultural Heritage, and the protection of Historic Centers as monuments. Likewise, she directed and developed the contents of the DOCOMOMO Ibérico Modern Movement Architecture conference in 2016 held in Donostia/San Sebastián, with the title "Heritage and Society",

She currently holds the position of Member of the Official Association of Basque-Navarre Architects in the Heritage Advisory Council of Euskadi, as well as in the Local Heritage Council of Donostia/San Sebastián. She is a member of the Working Group for the Protection of Architectural Heritage in the Higher Council of Colleges of Architects of Spain (CSCAE),

She works as a commentator in the media on architecture and heritage topics. On the radio, with the section "Treasures at sight" of the program "Hoy por Hoy" on Cadena Ser-Radio San Sebastián, and more specifically in the written press within the series “The city and its architectures” of “El Diario Vasco".

In relation to the topic we will discuss at this meeting, she has published several studies, such as "Los rostros de la memoria. El fenómeno memorialista en el mundo actual y sus usos políticos", an article published in the journal Historia y Política in 2015; "Los indomables montañeses del Norte y la Suiza española. Estereotipo vasco y paisaje en las guías turísticas del siglo XIX", published in the journal Historia Social in 2019; or the chapter "Northerness in the South. Basque Stereotype and Gender", in Xavier Andreu and Monica Bolufer (eds.), European Modernity and the Passionate South. Gender and Nation in Spain and Italy in the Long 19th Century, published in 2022.
