Ana Sánchez Ameneiro

Senior journalist at Diario de Sevilla (Grupo Joly) and member of the founding team of this newsroom, which was born in 1999. Born in Seville (1970), she has a degree in Journalism from the University of Seville and a Ph.D. in Philological Studies from the University of Seville. He is above all passionate about explaining things well (causes and consequences) and disseminating them to reach all audiences. 

He writes about the transformation of the city (mobility, sustainability, green heritage, infrastructure, neighborhood improvement needs), in the local section of the newspaper, publishes a weekly article analyzing mobility/sustainability on the “La Catenaria” blog and conducts interviews in the back cover to relevant people from Andalusian and national news. 

She actively participates in conferences as a speaker or moderator, some of which are: 

  • Colegio de Arquitectos de Sevilla (2019-2021) 
    • Seville Area Efficient Mobility Forum (Metas) 
    • Round table on the topic “Communication and Architecture. The social construction of the image of Architecture.”
