Ana Arranz

Ana Arranz Irigoyen, 1973. She holds a degree in architecture from the TU Delft Technical University (The Netherlands). She currently works as a lecturer in the area of Interior Design Materials and Technology at IDarte, School of Art and Design of the Basque Country.

She is a former official of the Architects Agency at the Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and Environment of the Government of the Netherlands; she has collaborated in projects and competitions with architects Ignacio Quemada and José Ignacio Etayo, in Donostia and Pamplona; she has worked as an assistant in research projects led by Dr Igor Calzada; and, she has been co-founder of the spin-off Translokal Academic Training for Policy Making.

She has been invited as an expert nominator in the selection of works for the EU Mies Awards by the Mies van der Rohe Foundation, Barcelona.
