Loft Study House is an initiative promoted by the Sub Department of Housing of the Department of Territorial Planning, Housing and Transport of the Basque Government through the Directorate of Housing, Land and Architecture.
The guide includes recommendations and examples of good practices for the transformation into dwelling of empty premises on ground floors in urban areas. These transformations, in addition to making profitable disused public heritage, serve as a reflection on the revitalization of obsolete urban fabrics and on new sensitivities around the domestic issue.
