Pseudotopía

In a context marked by an overabundance of images that blur the distinction between the real and the simulated, architecture faces the challenge of representing, naming, and building from a place of lost abstraction. Thinkers such as McLuhan, Kosuth, and Baudrillard already warned of the power of the medium, the confusion between object and representation, and the replacement of reality with fiction.
Today, with the proliferation of artificial intelligence and other forms of virtuality, these tensions have intensified significantly. This project offers a reflection on fictitious architectures that operate as settings in which contemporary desires are expressed.
Through the construction of habitable scenographies in a public space, visitors are invited to choose, position themselves, and photograph themselves within a produced image—perhaps one without authorship.
In doing so, a critical analysis is initiated around identity, desire, and representation, documenting individual choices and revealing collective affinities around an architectural imagery that is both shared and deeply mediated by the visual.
