The German philosopher Martin Heidegger states that 'to build' is equivalent to 'to inhabit'. The verb to be 'Ich bin', 'Du bist', I am, you are, in old German, had an equivalence with the verb to inhabit: 'I inhabit', 'you inhabit'. Thus, the etymology of German is sensitive to the position of the human in the place and to the respectful position towards the place we inhabit.
In this workshop, we will reflect on the position of the human in the world that welcomes him. We will ask ourselves if we know how to build ourselves, with the same precision with which we build buildings. We will demonstrate how build, rebuild, be, inhabit,... all mix together and reveal the necessary care to be human.
