José Zabala Roji - Addenda Architects

He has a degree in architecture from the International University of Catalonia (ESARQ, Barcelona, 2005) and in technical architecture from the Technical University of Catalonia (EUPB, Barcelona, 1999).

Before founding Addenda Architects with his partners Anne, Arnau, Cecilia and Roberto, José developed projects for the public administration, such as the Carmel District "Ground Zero" homes, in Barcelona (2007, in collaboration with Sergi Serrat) or the studies for the Avenida del Paral·lel, also in Barcelona. He has been a professor of projects at the International University of Catalonia (2007-2012) and has given talks in different national and international schools and institutions, such as KU Leuven Gante, Belgium; Historisches Museum Frankfurt, Germany; FAD, Foment de les Arts Decoratives, Barcelona, and others. Furthermore, José was the publisher of the Catalonia Architect Association's magazine Quaderns d'Arquitectura i Urbanisme, during 2011-2015. This publication received a FAD award in the thought and criticism category in 2015.
