Museum Cemento Rezola

Located in the Añorga neighborhood of Donostia-San Sebastián and founded in 2000, Museum Cemento Rezola is a unique space dedicated to promoting knowledge about cement. Its mission is to showcase the historical evolution of cement and its profound impact on the socio-economic development of the last century, with a special focus on the history and culture of Añorga.
The museum combines a permanent exhibition with temporary exhibitions designed for all audiences. In the permanent collection, visitors embark on a holistic journey, discovering —through experiments, interactive screens, and audiovisual media— the origins of cement, its current reality, the evolution of its production process, and the versatility of its applications.
The museum’s temporary exhibitions feature fascinating and surprising projects in architecture, art, engineering, and design, where cement takes center stage.
Museum Cemento Rezola also promotes the conservation and appreciation of local tangible and intangible heritage as an active resource for awareness-raising and heritage education. It offers activities for diverse social groups, with the aim of providing universal access to culture.
