Donostia Sustainability Forum

The Donostia Sustainability Forum (DSF) was created within the framework of the meeting space offered by the University of the Basque Country’s Summer Courses Foundation (UIK), as an expression of our active commitment to addressing the climate emergency and biodiversity loss from an interdisciplinary and bioethical perspective.
The Forum serves as an invitation to all relevant stakeholders to collaboratively share and disseminate existing scientific knowledge in a rigorous and evidence-based manner. With a clear international vocation, it seeks to contribute to the search for alternatives and solutions to these global challenges.
To this end, the Forum makes knowledge and science related to climate change and biodiversity conservation accessible through outreach, educational, and communication activities—both in-person and online.
It is a meeting space open to the public and to all relevant stakeholders, including academia, the private sector, public institutions, and non-governmental organizations. This space also functions as a forum for discussion, debate, and citizen participation regarding solutions to these major challenges.
It is a reference platform for tracking major international developments and progress in climate policy and biodiversity conservation.
