Fundación No Man’s Land

The No Man’s Land Foundation (https://nomanslandfoundation.com/home/) aims to foster innovation and economic/social regeneration through the lenses of contemporary art and research, promoting direct public participation and emphasizing the values of autonomy, sustainability, adaptability, self-organization, and self-planning. The Foundation’s philosophical reference is Yona Friedman, the Franco-Hungarian architect born in Budapest in 1923, who also serves as its Honorary President. Friedman, renowned for his theory of mobile architecture—conceived and created for and with the people—asserts that No Man’s Land enables each individual to develop their own personal culture while engaging with a networked structure: “No Man’s Land is perhaps the first step toward the reinvention of humanity.”
