Aulets Arquitectes, formed by Francisco Cifuentes and Sebastián Martorell and based in Palma, is a studio dedicated to research projects on architecture and territory.

Aulets understands the profession of architecture as a profession that provides a response to a community in a given territory, through projects that investigate the way of living, that are built with local resources and that adapt to the climate and the physical context.  The result is a support for the user to develop daily activities and the celebration of life. For Aulets, each project is an opportunity to put forward proposals that establish new relationships between human beings and the ecosystem in which we live.

Among other awards, Aulets' studio has been recognised by the Arquia/próxima opinion award (Valencia, 2008), the "The Peter Davey Special Prize" of the magazine "Architectural Review" (London 2018) and the "Best Architects Award" (Düsseldorf 2019).

His work has been part of the exhibition, "With Love From Spain" at the Utzon Center (Aalborg, 2021), of the CatalanoBalear pavilion at the Bienale di Architettura di Venezia, (Venice, 2012), of the travelling exhibition "Materia Sensible: Jóvenes Arquitectos Catalanes", 2010-2012 and of the travelling exhibition JAE, Jóvenes Arquitectos Españoles, Spanish Ministry of Housing, 2008-2012.
