Anna Puigjaner

PhD in architecture and researcher, she is co-founder and member of the architecture studio MAIO. Her work, linked to feminist thinking, focuses on the design of domestic systems capable of dismantling social inequalities. Her research projects include "Kitchenless City", winner of the 2016 Wheelwright Prize at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. He currently holds a chair dedicated to Care in Architecture at ETH-Zurich University, and has previously taught at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation GSAPP-Columbia University, the Royal College of Arts in London, the Massana School of Design and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (ETSAV-UPC), where he was also a member of the "Habitar" research group.  MAIO's projects have received several awards such as the FAD and have been exhibited at the Venice Architecture Biennale, the Storefront for Art and Architecture and the MoMA in New York, among others.
