Lur Olaizola Lizarralde (Donostia, 1988) is a film programmer and filmmaker. Since 2015, she has been the coordinator of the audiovisual programme at Tabakalera, International Centre for Contemporary Culture in San Sebastian, where she has curated, among others, the focus From the beginning. Histories of feminist cinema, with programmes at Tabakalera and Artium. In 2017 she curated the first retrospective of José Val del Omar in New York (Distant Touch: José Val del Omar, Anthology Film Archives). As a filmmaker she has directed three short films, Xulia (2019), Zerua blu (2020, Grand Prize Best Spanish Short Film Zinebi 2020) and Hirugarren koadernoa (Third Notebook) premiered at Cinéma du Reél (2022) and selected for the Zabaltegi-Tabakalera section of Zinemaldi. In 2021 it was selected for the Berlinale Talents programme. It was part of the selection committee for the Punto de Vista festival in 2022 and 2023.
