Fernando Castro Florez (Plasencia, 1964). He holds a PhD in Aesthetics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where he is a tenured lecturer. He has written for cultural supplements in newspapers such as El País, Diario 16, El Independiente, El Sol and El Mundo. For more than ten years he has been working as an art critic for ABC Cultural.
