An architect by training, a designer by adaptation, a painter by vocation and a writer by desire to win friends, Oscar Tusquets Blanca is the prototype of the integral artist who specializes in the world.
Modernism has progressively led to extinction.

Born in Barcelona in 1941, he graduated as an architect from the Barcelona School of Architecture. Founding partner of the now dissolved Studio Per, he carried out the vast majority of his projects together with Lluís Clotet until 1984. In 1987 he associated with Carlos Díaz for the development of national and international urban planning and architecture projects. With BD Barcelona Design, a production company of which he is a founding partner, he began as a designer of furniture and objects. Some of his pieces are part of the collections of important museums such as the Moma in New York or the George Pompidou in Paris.

Although he has been painting for fifty years, he has recently exhibited and given the possibility of
acquire his work. In 1994 he revealed himself as an essayist and since then has published in several editorials with notable critical and public success. Among other distinctions, he has received the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts, the National Design Award, the Palme de Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, and the Creu de Sant Jordi. It also has two Ciutat de Barcelona awards, and several FADs for Architecture and Delta for Design.
