TEd'A arquitectes

Irene Pérez (Barcelona, ??1976) and Jaume Mayol (Mallorca, 1976) study at ETSA Vallés. Irene and Jaume run the TEd’A arquitectes studio in Mallorca. His work focuses on the use of local resources, local materials and local typologies. Both architects combine their professional and academic practice.

They have both taught at the University of Stuttgart, at the Fakultät für Architektur TU Graz, and also at TU Munich. They are currently teachers at the Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf. His work has recently been awarded in different awards, among which the award at the Spanish Biennial BEAU XV in 2021 stands out, and also at the BEAU XIV 2018, they also received the international FAD award in 2018, as well as the FAD award for interior design. in 2018, the ECOLA 2019 award or the Brick award 2020. Last year they were one of the finalist studies for the Swiss Award 2020. TEd'A arquitectes mainly work on the island of Mallorca, but they also develop some projects outside the islands, in the moment highlights a school building in Gerona and a church in Belgium.
