Andrés Caballero Lobera

Born in 1962 in Pamplona, he is architect and lecturer of Architectural Projects at the School of Architecture of the University of the Basque Country since 1988.

He has carried out research into the evolution of the concept of modernity in the work of the architect Víctor Eusa Razquin, which has resulted in the thesis Víctor Eusa-Arquitecto: Pamplona 1894-1990. Among the research carried out, the works published on the expressionist architecture of the first third of the 20th century and the legacy of the academic training of the 19th century stand out.

He currently coordinates the research group "Bulevares y Alamedas: los primeros espacios verdes en el País Vasco" (Boulevards and avenues: the first green spaces in the Basque Country). 

He has published several works on the work of the architect Víctor Eusa in the fields of history, architecture and architectural design. Today, his research interests lie mainly in comparative urban history.

As an architect, he has carried out work for both public and private institutions, and has participated in several architectural competitions where he was awarded a third prize and several mentions.
