Liu Diyu

Liu Diyu, associate Professor, School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University, editor of built heritage, Ph.D. in Architectural History and Theory.

Since 2007, his main research directions focus on China's architectural history and traditional urban form. He has been focused especially in the comparative study of urban and architectural forms in the Qingming Shanghetu (Along the River During the Qingming Festival, the most important drawing of the city and rural area in Northern Song by Zhang Zeduan (1085-1145)), and the architectural forms in traditional images such as Dunhuang murals.

His research also has important implications, as well as attention to contemporary Chinese architectural criticism. From 2003 to the present, he has published a total of 28 articles and 2 academic monographs in academic journals in the field of architecture.
