The exhibition ‘Arquitectura Consciente’ [Conscious Architecture] is a proposal by the NGO Architectures without boundaries.
On the basis of the Article 25 of the Declaration of Human Rights, they propose a modular structure to deal with the following topics:
Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control".
The proposal is built on 4 independent modules that simulate the section of a dwelling. The 4 modules are placed one after the other, creating a discontinuous space that still generates a continuity. Each module deals with a different topic from the Article related to the projects carried out by the NGO.
