RHIZOMA is a project curated by the architects Victoria Collar, Jon Garbizu (Garbizu Collar Architecture), Gonzalo Peña (KRI) and Diego Sologuren, in collaboration with Egoin Wood Group and Chillida Leku. It is an essay that travels through the territory of the demystification of the baserri, the Basque farmhouse. It seeks to remove this historical structure from anachronism and thus open a space for dialogue on new ways of looking at the post-rural world. Rhizoma will divide its proposal into four acts: HAS- (to begin), SOR- (create), BER- (re-do) and BIZ- (to inhabit).
