Basic didactics. Learning how to design at the HfG Ulm conference
A panoramic overview of the structure and evolution of the basic course reveals a non-linear story, characterised by radical pedagogical transformations and relevant figures happening in a short time. The basic course was planned as a common learning space for students coming from different disciplines and cultures. The lecture will elaborate especially on those teachings and didactic experiences aimed at learning the design process, from the generic tools to specific design exercises: a pedagogy that defines the character of HfG Ulm productions.
