Hiztetaldiak is a communication project that aims to make visible the feminist voices and perspectives traditionally silenced in academic and professional architecture spaces. Within the framework of the Basque Country Architecture Biennial 2025, it proposes a deliberate occupation of public space through conversations between women and dissidences who are references in various fields.
Each session will be structured around topics of contemporary relevance such as urban rooting, spatial embodiment, care sustainability, digital immersion, orientation towards healthy architecture, territorial furrowing, and the consolidation of new models of domestic habitability. The conversations will be led by a moderator and will include the participation of professionals selected for their critical approach to each topic.
The project champions interdisciplinarity to transcend the traditional boundaries of architecture and enrich the debate with perspectives from diverse fields of knowledge. All conversations will be fully documented and disseminated in a free-access podcast format, contributing to the construction of a more inclusive and representative collective knowledge.
