Screening of the documentary short film 'If is this a home'. Director: Nuria Casal. 25min.
It is difficult to define what a dignified life is. One of the conditions is undoubtedly a roof, a home. What makes a place a worthy place
to live? What makes a place a home? All around us, in our city, three steps from our gate, there are unworthy places where, nevertheless, people live. A bank teller is a roof, but is it a decent place? Is it a home?
Among us we continue to find people who live on the street, in foster homes, in disused pavilions... We approach them and, as far as possible, those spaces so that they can tell us their experiences in first person. What is decent housing for them? A home, that safe place from which which to go out into the world.
